Composition + Sustainability

52% Cotton, 48% Poly Fleece

We are committed to sustainability. Many of us know that the manufacturing industry is one of the greatest polluters of our planet. We believe that we, as producers can change that!

Our products are manufactured with 7X less water than traditional apparel, in facilities that utilize solar energy and minimize off-cut waste. We are strictly anti-sweatshop.

The majority of our unisex tees are available in sizes S-3XL and sweatshirts and hoodies are available in sizes S-2XL. Most importantly, no matter what your size, you’ll pay the same price.

We don’t carry ladies cut tees in the shop because they run VERY SMALL and exclude many bodies in their sizing. We recommend that LADIES order ONE SIZE DOWN if they’d prefer a slimmer fit. Please refer to our size chart in the thumbnails for exact dimensions.

Returns + Exchanges

We will happily accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of the purchase day. After 30 days we, unfortunately, cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

If you'd like to process a return or exchange please reach out to our team directly at hello@shopkindstudio.com and we'll see if we can make it happen.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

For People

We love making shirts that empower and inspire the people who wear them! Love it! But we think it the thing you don't see are just as important which is why we work our butts off to practice what we preach.

10% Donation

We donate 10% from every shirt to small non-profits that empower global women. This choice to share a large percentage of our profits with organizations we love, is not one driven by profits by rather our values. So who do we share our profits with?

Conscious Impact, Nepal

Doing things the right way has never been up for debate. We have been manufacturing in the U.S. and internationally in a humane, sustainable way since day one.

Our Platinum W.R.A.P. certification is just a small indication of how hard we work to make our sewing and cutting floors pleasant, productive, comfortable places to be.

What Principles Does the WRAP Certification Include?

- Human resources management

- Health and safety standards

- Environmental and eco-friendly practices

- Legal compliance including import/export, customs compliance and security standards

for the planet

We are committed to sustainability. Many of us know that the manufacturing industry is one of the greatest polluters of our planet. We believe that we, as producers can change that!

What's up with our recycled plastic shirts?

Our black and white shirts are composed of 40% recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate).  PET is the most common type of plastic resin. To create virgin PET, producers extract crude oil and natural gas from the Earth, then process and heat it to form a molten liquid.

Plastics in landfills take thousands of years to break down, and can leach toxic chemicals into the Earth. These chemicals can make their way into groundwater reserves, endangering both humans and animals. Plastics that “break down”, only do so into smaller pieces of plastic, which are still harmful to the ecosystems they may end up in.

The best we can about our big plastic problem is reduce our use. The second best we can do recycle what is already in use. Recycling plastics also helps decrease the amount of plastic waste that enters landfills. It not only provides a better option than the landfill, it also has the ability to greatly decrease our resource extraction.

Over 60% of first-time PET production is used to create polyester textiles. A small percentage of that is woven into our shirts! Approximately four water bottles worth of plastic are kept out of a landfill with each shirt. Doing things!

Water reduction

By using newer, more efficient dye machines, our manufacturing partner uses 7x less water than the average for clothing manufacturers, saving 24 million gallons a week. Any water they do use goes through a filtration system that allows it to be recycled.

Virtually zero waste

Our manufacturing facilities produce almost no landfill because they recycle pretty much everything that can't be turned into a tee. They've optimized their cutting to reduce plastic use, and excess fabric is recycled into a number of things like baby bibs or stuffing for upholstery. Let nothing go to waste!
